CANOPY CONTINUUM

The Treasure Valley Canopy Network has partnered with Portland State University to explore the link between environmental and human health in communities throughout the Treasure Valley. There are 3 key components to this project, including: Air Quality Monitoring, Urban Heat Measurement and examining links between Environmental and Human Health.

Follow us on Social Media and visit this website for periodic updates on project progress.

Air Quality Monitoring — In Winter 2018, we established PurpleAir air quality monitoring stations throughout the valley.

Urban Heat Watch — In Summer 2019, we completed a regional urban heat study.

Links between environmental and human health — Our healthcare partners are gathering human health data to inform this final stage of the Canopy Continuum Project.
