• Treasure Valley Shade Tree Project

  • Project highlights:

    • Uses the Treasure Valley UTC Assessment to evaluate the energy saving potential of shade trees and identify strategic planting locations

    • Encourages homeowners to plant shade trees on the west side of homes

    • Focuses on energy savings, proper planting and long-term tree care

  • More than 11,000 trees planted since 2013

• Boise Community Forestry Neighborwoods

  • Program Highlights:

    • Uses the Treasure Valley UTC Assessment to strategically plant shade trees along city right-of-way in Boise neighborhoods

    • Provides trees for homeowners to plant in their front yard
